Daniel has been a staffing and talent acquisition executive for over 30 years. Currently, he is responsible for developing and executing the HR strategy for 6 organizations within Amazon's eCommerce Foundation (Prime Air, ASCS, eCS, Builderworks, Applied AI, and Amazon Privacy). These strategies are focused on surpassing operational metrics for growth while delivering the best experience possible for both our business leadership and employees. Want to up your interview game? The STAR method is a framework for structuring answers to behavioral interview questions. STAR is an acronym that stands for: ⭐Situation: The situation you faced = Provide enough context for the interviewer to understand your example, but don't include every detail. ⭐Task: The task you were given to do = Describe the actions you took to complete the task, and highlight the skills or character traits that are relevant to the question. ⭐Action: The action you took = Explain the positive outcomes of your actions, and try to include quantifiable results. Hilger was responsible for driving alignment and growth across a network of specialized companies. He currently serves as a guest lecturer at Duke University and American University, and writes a regular LinkedIn blog on leadership. He speaks on a range of topics, including digital transformation, the future of work, leadership, AI, change management, analytics, and the role businesses should play in reshaping our world. Known for his versatility and strong work ethic, Hilger spearheaded Allegis Group’s digital transformation strategy, leveraging partnerships, state-of-the-art technology, data and analytics to create unparalleled experiences for customers. Hilger has a passion for driving innovative cultures that create opportunity for team members and customers. Prior to his role as president, Hilger served as chief information officer, vice president of strategy, and held a number of leadership roles across the operating companies. He holds a Master’s degree from Temple University and a Bachelor’s from the University of Notre Dame. Upon graduation from Notre Dame, Hilger spent a year as a full-time volunteer for the Northeast Ohio Boys Hope House, after which he worked as a Residential Counselor for an additional year. He currently serves on the board of Boys Hope Girls Hope of Baltimore. He resides in Ellicott City with his wife, Jennifer and their dog, Leo.
